Sébastien Tellier "Look"

Very hipnotizar and mesmerizing (who knows the difference in that case?) butt, that ends up as a Swiss cheese.

Directed by Mrzyk & Moriceau

I must say this creative duo is obsessed with butts ;):

Message / Football / Braille Tape

Two types of useful message tapes - one for the blind. And a football tape for kids or someone who prefers a less formal type of football game.

Bare bones about anatomical clothing

Black Milk - nice shop selling clothing with anatomical overprints,  among which the swimsuit  made the biggest career. Designer James Lillis  on his site tells us a dream-come-true story about  making Black Milk exclusively online fashion label from a tent at the market, after 'twists and turns, action and adventures'

And below the Anatomical Edu-wear from Seasons Studios. T-shits and socks (with muscles and bones).
Absolute advantage of their socks - they have reflexology points printed on the soles, encourage you to give your feet something more than just washing  and trimming your nails: healthy massage.

Water ink.Campaign against non-potable water

Undrinkable water is one of the world's leading cause of death. And because it’s water – the threat is invisible. And here we are astonished by this minimalistic but strongly build on contrasts approach to the problem: ink reveals the shape of the truth.

The campaign was rolled out in March 2011, on the World Water Day, to build awareness to the problem. Spot was directed by Clément Beauvais, who also created the drawings.

Web site www.votregouttedeau.org collects signatures for the petition, that will be handed to the French president during the 6th World Water Forum in March 2012. (Well, let's hope that also Carla would take interest and care of this problem ;)

Dark side of human nature. Thomas Ott

The best way to make an international career (especially if you come from German-speaking country) is to create comics completely devoid of text. Thomas Ott's comics, with his distinctive woodcut style, are apocalyptic tales about the end of the world, paranormal phenomenas and death, but above all about the darkest side of human nature.
Thomas Ott. Born (in 1966) and studied in Zurich, lives and works in Zurich and Paris.

Ten Ways to Kill your Husband from 'Tales of Error'

'Dead end' and 'Panoptikum'

O, I hope, Mr. Ott.

Volkswagen - The Phaeton commercial

Isn't it beautiful what hands can do? Yes, indeed. I mean...in some cases.
Nice commercial drawing inspiration from Japanese shadow theater.

Something's out there. Charles Bergquist's photography

Charles Bergquist, photographer from San Diego, California, “currently available for hire” (good ;)
Creates  two-layer images, sometimes with slogans and multi-layered photo collages.
I must honestly say: yes, colorful as well ;)
There is a subtle sadness in his pictures, full of desert landscapes, sea-coasts and twisted clouds.

Amnesty International: Everybody against everybody

Not so easy to find black and white adv, maybe easier when it comes to social communication, where blacks and whites can provide its formal drama, not only sell another color version of the better world (unless you buy something)
This one with the nineteenth century engravings and images builds the drama of the situation perfectly: Everybody against everybody (notice waving Mao in China and nuclear explosion in Japan - the best way to describe mass genocide on such a small space )
I would like to see this poster in a decent (=large) scale and taste the details.

Emerge animation

Since my black and white blog emerges from the whole mass of other color blogs collecting inspirational things, I found the animation that illustrate this particular concept ;)

Transient beauty.Photography by Daido Moriyama

Daido Moriyama
Critics claim that Moriyama’s photos reflect  the spirit of Japanese wabi-sabi – incomplete, transient beauty.
Born in 1938 in Osaka photographer rarely uses a viewfinder while taking picture.
Below some of his sensual images.
