Daylight simulation lamps

Daniel Rybakken, designer from Norway, grew up in Oslo, studied design both in Oslo and Gothenburg, Sweden.
Creates art installations and prototypes for serial production.
His idée fixe is to work with daylight and ways of artificially recreate its ‘subconscious effects’.
Rybakken uses electronic boards containing LEDs arranged behind semi-transparent surface to simulate daylight
replicate the positive sensation of sunlight and incorporate them directly into architecture.

Installation in office builiding in Stockholm, where entrance and staircase have no natural light.

“Don’t look at the table, look at the shadow on the floor beneath it” - projector under the table gives the illusion of daylight.
